About Me
I’m an Ofsted GOOD registered childminder and have been childminding now for approximately 13 years.
I’m a mum to 3 children, eldest being 16, so have lots of experience with all ages.
I believe im a fun parent and childminder, and when your child comes to my home they will be loved and laughed with.
They will enjoy their day from start to finish, as our house is a little crazy.
I’m fully qualified, with ofsted and have all certificates required readily available. Including full first aid.
I am a childminder in Cheam, but do drop off and collection in sutton. So can accommodate to your needs.
I previously worked for Metropolitan police for 16 years, when I decided during my time there to start A family. I took to parenthood more than I could have ever imagined. I enjoy being around my own and other children, and decided that childcare was ideally suited to me. I therefore took the childcare qualifications required, and have been childminding for 13 years now, but have 15 years of experience with my own children included.
My Experience
I tailor our time each day to the children’s needs.
The children I look after come into our home and are made to feel very welcome and become one of the family in my home from
Home environment.
They can play and learn alongside one another or with my own children, in the house or out in garden. Our day is child led, and we enjoy what the children enjoy to play with. I set up some lovely activities and they have the choice to participate in those too, or to enjoy themselves learning with what they enjoy most.
We have many toys, for their enjoyment but also to assist with learning the national curriculum too.
We also have some down time where they can enjoy reading, arts and crafts.
Books are always readily available.
In the garden we have it equipped with many garden toys, ride ons, bikes, scooters, water play, sand pits, football goals, basketball nets, a play house, plus many more. We regularly have the paddling pool out in the summer too.
We are a fun family of 5, and if you come to me for your childcare I truly believe you can rest assured that you’ll have a happy child whilst you are at work in a home from home environment.
I have grown up in a family of lots of children, and with my mum who is a registered childminder still in the area. So although I wasn't a childminder, all my life, I was always around the environment and like to think I have gained extended knowledge through this.
I have a 15 year old girl, a 10 year old girl and a 7 year old son. I have lots of life experiences within childcare and caring for my own children and like to think this speaks volumes for the experience I have.
My Qualifications
Early years Childcare qualification, paediatric first aid course and dbs certificates.
I have extended my knowledge taking further qualifications with a large portfolio of certificates in my extra courses.
My Availability
I have some available space at the moment and accept all funding options.
My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
Funding accepted for all ages.
