About Us

We are small Childrens Day Nursery based in Eaglescliffe I have had over 21 years experience within the Early Years Sector, I was previously a registered childminder and had experience of running a successful childminding service but due to the increase of numbers through word of mouth I decided to expand and fulfill my dream of opening a childrens day nursery. I am also qualified to degree level within the Early Years field. I enjoy working with children of all ages and have good knowledge of child development. Within our setting we have a baby room (8 babies), Tweenie Room (6 children) and a Pre-School Room (19 children). Activities are planned on a daily basis incorporating the EYFS to ensure children reach their full learning potential. . All staff who are employed by Puddleducks Childcare are qualified to degree level in Early Childhood Studies, or NVQ 3 and NVQ 2, staff also attend Food Hygiene, First Aid and Safeguarding Training, and other childcare related qualifications and courses.
We can offer school pick ups from local schools with prior arrangement as we have a 7 seater car.
All meals are home cooked fresh meals which have been prepared by a fully qualiifed catering manager, who has also devised the menu. This ensures all children needs are met and catered for.
We care for children aged 6 weeks to 11 years.
