I am young and enthusiastic student studying Law with Psychology at NTU and I am wanting to build my career in child care! I have experience with a range of ages of children and also have done casual babysitting for multiple families. I think I can really help with someones childcare!
My interests include photography, especially abstract photography, and ice skating which I have now finished after competing in a team who represented GB at national and international competitions for 8 years. This has given me and interest in meeting people from other countries and cultures as when at competitions abroad there was a lot of interaction between different teams from around the world.
I am interested in working with children and on charitable causes which is shown by my volunteering work, especially in Romania, but also through being the leader of the charity group at my school.
I’m easy going, enjoy being around other people and making new friends. I also have a passion for working with children and can't wait to start my career in this field.
My Experience
I traveled to Ghana for 2 months during my gap year before university where I was a volunteer teaching assistant and carer at an orphanage. This experience really helped me develop the skills necessary for a career in child care and I really do believe that I have a naturally good affinity with children and can easily get on with them.
I also have travelled to Romania with my close friend to volunteer in an orphanage called Little John’s House, for a week in Summer's 2015, 2016 and 2017. This involved looking after disabled children and providing them with a fun and supportive environment. There was up to 50 children each day and they were aged from 3 to 18. The volunteers had to organise activities that would cater for all ages and needs. This included arts and crafts, sensory and sporting activities.
I also worked as a youth worker at a one-week residential conference, New Wine (summer 2016), where I provided activities and support for a group of eight 9-10 year old children. I had to support and motivate the children to complete activities and games which related to the talks being given throughout the week.
I was also a peer mentor for younger students at school and sixth form from 2014 to 2017. This involved supporting and motivating students to complete their homework and other academic tasks. I would usually work with one student at a time and their ages could range from 11 to 15.
My Qualifications
I am a current student at Nottingham Trent University studying Law with Psychology. I have completed my GCSE's and A Levels and also a TEFL (teaching English as a foreign language) course.

Charlotte has been reliable and always on time. She gets on great with my three children aged 2,5, and 7years. The children are excited for her to babysit.
She is a very polite young woman and has a very good way with the children. She is able to get all the children to bed without any issues. Which is always great knowing they are staying to our usual routine whilst we are out.
