About Me
Hi my name is Rosalind, but I am known to most as Ros. I am a well-mannered, warm hearted and caring Maternity Nurse; who is a passionate, articulate and a responsible carer; with experience and interest in the development of children from all ages. Ability to care for preterm/newborns and beyond! Managing and caring for moderately preterm twins overnight; with knowledge of breast anatomy, how to establish good milk supply, feeding positions and ensuring a correct lactation. Works very closely with parents to help implement sleep routines, and establishing feeding patterns. Previously registered childminder with Ofsted awarded ‘Outstanding’! Excellent communication skills and works accordingly to the request of parents from all back grounds.
My Experience
15 years and of child care experience, with an overall 8 years of newborns! Working with multiple births, carrying out day and night time duties. Helping to establish feeding and sleep routines, with an awareness of breast feeding positions and lactation.

OCN Level 3+4 – Post Natal Maternity Nurse Skills
CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People’s Workforce (QFC)
Miskin Breast feeding training level 1
Level 3 Safe guarding/ Child protection, refreshed October 25.
My Availability
Availabilty for maternity work , for daily work only 2-4 days per week for 8-10hrs a day. Or 4-6 hrs a day for 5 days per week with effect from 12th January till the end of Februaru 2026. Baby sitting now available on ocassional week days, Friday evenings and Saturdays from 12 noon onwards! My DBS is on the updated system, which is checked and clarified yearly!
My Fees
- Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
- Maternity Nursing from £22.00 per hour (gross)
Daily rate per hour £20 to 24. Depending upon hours worked!
