Busy Mum of two girls, 22 and 19 The youngest has cerebral palsy and needs assistance with every day activities. She is super bright and such a lovely young lady, but her disability means she relies on others to help her with everything. She is a teenager that just wants to do teenage stuff. All training is given, and no previous experience of working in the special needs area is necessary. My husband and I have many things going on at the moment, with numerous commitments. We're an active fun loving family that travel a lot, and we do lots of adventurous activities with our girls.
My Requirements
To employ the right people we are offering a few different options so we don't miss out on a perfect nanny/au pair/babysitter. We do need morning, after school help and weekend help, but that can all be flexible, and covered by more than one person.
We can also consider offering the right nanny a full time live in/out position from Monday to Sunday, with lots of time off during the week when our daughter is at boarding school, which is only just beginning to happen. We are offering approx 30 - 40 hrs a week, which includes some driving, at a great rate of pay and international travel. We have a carer’s en-suite room with kitchenette and own entrance available. Perfect for someone studying part time or wanting to pursue other activities.
We are also happy to consider someone to just cover Saturday & Sunday day times. These hours would be 10am- 5pm, doing swimming, arts&crafts possibly family outings, helping to make Sunday lunch/baking or going to the movies! We do need plenty of people during holidays, and some ad hoc evenings too. A driver is essential, someone fun, prepared to get on the floor and play, go swimming at home, or join us on family outings/family roasts! We do take carers on lovely holidays too. Our carers have been to Italy, France, South Africa, Florida, California and skiing.
