Nanny

I currently work full time as nanny caring for 3 children aged 2,5,7.
My main duties are Getting the children dressed in the morning, taking and picking up the children to and from school.During lockdown I was home schooling the children helping them with their work. planning and creating activities for them, taking the children on days out and to parks. Taking the children to planned activities for example swimming lesson.Doing the food shopping.preparing and planning meals.Doing the bath time routine and getting them ready for bed. Household duties cleaning and tidying the children rooms, changing bed sheets, organising the children toys and wardrobes, light house work .

Nursery Assistant - Stepping stones pre-school

I currently work as a Nursery Assistant in a local nursery, where I have recently completed Level 3 childcare. In this role, I am engaged as a key worker for children aged between 2 and 5 years old, which I regularly observe and meet the needs of, for example completing learning journals, school reports, overseeing the children’s day to day activities and parental liaison. I promote effective teaching and learning by pro-actively participating in staff meetings and assisting colleagues in finding solutions. I also have an active part in planning the curriculum that meets all the learning requirements of the children at the pre-school, and play an active role in providing a safe, clean and tidy environment.

Live in Nanny
June 2018 to December 2018
As a live in nanny I provided care for two children, aged x and x years old. This involved taking the eldest child to and from school and meeting the needs of the younger child during school hours. I supervised visits to play groups, soft play, pre-school, other outings and creative activities, along with swimming lessons each week. I also prepared meals, kept the house clean and supervised bedtime.

As a childminder I was responsible for looking after children from the ages of 0-10 years old. My responsibilities included, school drop off and pick up, writing learning journeys, carrying out behavioural observations on children and tracking their development, as well planning activities, meal preparation, parental liaison and ensuring the children’s area was safe, clean and tidy at all times.

In this role, I was a key worker for five children aged 0 - 2 years old. It was my responsibility to upkeep a safe and clean environment for the children.
