About Me

I live in the village of Hemingbrough with my husband and 2 children. Until September 2018 I was deputy manager, key practitioner and special educational needs coordinator at a village preschool. I love working with children and have completed my degree in Early Years. I have recently finished working for another preschool as deputy manager/SENCo after 4 years, and have now been working as a learning support assistant at a school specifically for children with special needs since May 2024. I have completed my level 3 SEN qualification through Best Practice Network. I renewed my paediatric first aid training in January 2025 and have up to date comprehensive safeguarding training. References from families I sit for are available on request and from current and previous job roles. I have my own car and I’m pretty flexible on times. I am happy for the families I care for to have pets. I like to come and meet new families before any childcare is confirmed and bring along my certificates etc. It’s really important to me that everyone is happy with the arrangements. My current rate starts at £12.50 per hour for babysitting locally (additional mileage by arrangement). I have my own transport.
