With a solid background of five years in childcare, I have had the privilege of working with children across a wide age range, from newborns to 13-year-olds. However, my journey took an exciting turn when I decided to join the army, which led me to temporarily step away from the childcare profession. After my honorable discharge in November of last year, I pursued a career in HGV driving.
Now, as life often presents us with new perspectives, I find myself yearning to return to my true passion: caring for children. This desire stems not only from my professional background but also from my personal motivation to spend more quality time with my four year-old son and my one year old daughter. My Experience
Over the course of my career, I have dedicated two full years to working in four nurseries and one primary school, providing care and support to children ranging in age from 6 months to 13 years. This diverse experience has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of the developmental needs and unique challenges that different age groups present.
Most recently, I had the privilege of caring for a wonderful family, where I provided attentive care to an 8-month-old, a 2-year-old, and a 3-year-old. Simultaneously, I also attended to the needs of another family, caring for a 3-year-old, an 8-year-old, and a 13-year-old. These experiences allowed me to develop exceptional multitasking skills and the ability to create a harmonious and engaging environment for children with varying needs.
Furthermore, I had the opportunity to serve as a community babysitter and nanny in Queenstown, New Zealand, for an entire year. During this time, I successfully balanced the care of multiple families and even facilitated a nanny share program, collaborating with a trusted colleague, Hayden. Together, we organized exciting playdates and ensured that each child received the attention and care they deserve.

My Availability
I am soon to be fully available. I have my own children’s school runs to adhere to but if we can make it work around your plans aswell than it’s a bonus for both! I am currently full time employed but that will be subject to change, I am not particularly looking for full time, I am just trying to balance being a present mother and helping another family with that balance for work too.
