About Me

I am married to Stu and have 4 lovely daughters aged 9, 17, 23 and 26 I also have a beautiful 3 year old granddaughter.
I have been looking after children for the past 16 years on a professional basis as both a childminder and previously a teaching assistant. I offer a cosy home from home setting, looking after both early years children and school aged children (before/after school) during term time.

My Experience

I have 16 years childcare experience as a childminder, a pre-school assistant and as a Teaching Assistant in a SEN school. I have worked with children aged from birth to young adults and have dealt with children with a range of additional needs / disabilities / medical needs and behavioural issues.

My Qualifications

I have relevant childminder qualifications which i have obtained through Dudley MBC. I have a Paediatric First Aid certificate, Safeguarding, Level 2 in Food Safety in Catering, Business Skills, EYFS.
I have Teaching Assistant level 2 and 3 and a Special Educational Needs Diploma.
I have an Access to Higher Education diploma in Social Sciences (Psychology and Sociology) and I'm currently doing a part time University degree in Childhood and Youth studies, which is due to be completed by May 2027.

My Availability

Early Years children - I have 1 term-time place becoming available September 2026, Wednesdays and Fridays between 7.30am and 4.30pm (shorter hours can be arranged)

Wrap around school care (Term Time only) - I offer a drop off and pick up service every weekday for Our Lady and St Kenelm RC Primary School in Halesowen only. There are currently no spaces available.

My Fees

  • Childminding from £5.00 per hour

Early years children - I charge £5.00 per hour for children aged 5 and under (outside of funded hours)

Children attending before school will be charged a set price of £4.95 and will be charged £4.70 per hour after school.

My son has been going to Sarah for just under two years, and I honestly cannot recommend her enough. He absolutely loves going and always comes home so happy and excited to tell me all about the wonderful day he's had.

Sarah has been amazing. The care, support, and dedication she shows to all of the children is truly wonderful. My son has received so much encouragement and support during his time with her, and it's been lovely to see him grow in such a nurturing environment.

Sarah always plans a wide variety of fun and engaging activities for the children to enjoy together. It's clear how much thought and effort she puts into making every day enjoyable.

We are so grateful for all your hard work, care, and support.
