My Experience

Nanny since 2013 to now. I take care children ages from newborn to young teens. My main duties and responsibilities were:
• Responsible for the safety, well-being, care and development of a child.
• Preparing and feeding healthy meals at breakfast, lunch, and dinner (packing snacks and lunch boxes).
• Drop or picking up from school or nursery.
• Bathing the children and getting them ready for bed.
• Keeping the areas always tidy and clean.
• Teach and help them to clean their rooms.
• Engage children to do their activities such sport, craft, singing, dancing, painting and educational games.
• Maintain children in a friendly environment and engage them in activities outdoors such parks, museum, theatre or cinema.
• Use my psychological knowledge to promote a good behaviour using a positive method.
• Helping children with their homework and teach Spanish.
• Being a Role Model by setting a good example to the children.
• Childminder sometimes in occasion of parents are on business trips.
• Light housekeeping duties
