Hello,
I'm Kerrie. I've been a sole Charge Nanny
since 2009. Childcare is the only profession I have ever worked in and probably the only one I will. I'm as passionate now as the day as I started just a bit wiser and a whole lot more experienced. I have Newborn experience up to the age of 8 and have currently also been Volunteering at Whytebeams preschool (outstanding Ofsted) in my free time to get an up to date knowledge of the Early years foundation stage. I am 37 now and have worked in childcare since I was 16 I love how every day is different, pots and pans becoming a musical band, dressing up, arts and crafts, baking, playgroups, trips out, parks, museums so many learning experiences the options are endless and it's amazing what children can do from a young age and it's a privilege helping them try something one day and master it the next.
I started off running an after school club while at college and moved on to working in a nursery, from that I progressed into Nannying and I have been working as a sole charge Nanny since 2009.
After 7 years with my current family I was made redundant on the 25th August 2023. It was a very sad moment (even though we will stay in contact) but I am very excited to move on to the next family I can help and the new adventures we can have.
Health and Safety is a priority to me but at the same time my Role doesn’t always seem like work as to me it is so much fun and so rewarding and often changes from day to day.

References are available at interview stage-I can provide DBS check that was obtained in May 2023 as I've currently been doing some volunteering at the Pre-school my current children went to just to give something back and get upto date knowledge of the EYFS, I have just updated my Peadiatric first aid the full course in April 2023 and I am Ofsted registered. I qualified in 2012 as a Non medical maternity nurse/post natal carer and have a NEST Level 3 Diploma and have had newborn experience.

My Availability
I am available to work Monday-Friday, and most regularly been working 55 hours a week.
I would ideally be looking to work 30-44 hours over 3-4 days but also happy to work full time Nanny hours.

Kerrie has been our children’ nanny for the last 7 years. During this time she has been caring for our children and nurturing then in a way that went well beyond expectations.
Kerrie always maintains a playful and happy environment around the children. She is very good at organizing tasks and activities and managing a busy home environment.
