About Me
Hi. I am a newly registered Childminder in New Cardington, Bedford. I am 37yrs old and live in a 4 bed town house with my partner and 2.5 year old daughter. I have been a Catering Manager for over 10 years now working in Bedford. I decided after thought and life experiences that I wanted to change my carer to do something I really want to do. My partner and I decided 4 years ago to foster as we were told it may not be possible to have our own child. We were completing the fostering process and we were also waiting to start IVF treatment at the time. While we were on the practical 3 day fostering course I did not realise I was pregnant at the time! 2.5 years on an we have what we call our little miracle daughter! I have now decided to change my career to hopefully take us back to fostering in the future.
My Experience
I have registered with a childminding agency (Rutland) who will guide and offer support through this new journey.
I have a very active 2.5 year old that I like to do lots of different things and activities with. By the age of 2 years she could count to 10 and now she is able to count to 14. She has clear speech and attends nursery 1 day a week and 2 days with her Nana and Grandad while I am currently working.
I can offer your child a home-from-home professional childcare, offering hours to suit you as I completely understand how hard it is trying to find childcare to suit your working hours. I am open to negotiate hours to suit you. I can also offer weekend care where as other childminders are only Mon-Fri care.
My Qualifications
I have registered with a childminding agency (Rutland).
I have done -
Paediatric First Aid Course/Advanced level First Aid in the work place.
Basic Food Hygiene/Advanced Food Hygiene.
HBCA childminding Level 3 course.
My Availability
Open to discuss hour that suit first. Would prefer all day care. I can also offer weekend care if needed.
My Fees
- Childminding from £5.36 per hour
£5.50 per hour.
£6 per hour with all food/drink/milk/nappies/wipes provided.
£6.50 per hour after 5pm Mon-Fri.
£6.50 per hour weekends.
£7 per hour weekends with all food/drink/milk/nappies/wipes provided.
