About Me
Hello, my name is Linda Thomas, I am 33 years old. I live with my husband and we have two lovely children, Oliver aged 9 and Izabella aged 6. My aim is to provide good quality care in a home from home setting where every child feels welcomed, loved and valued.
As a family, we love spending our time outdoors and all our hobbies are based around an active & healthy lifestyle. We are lucky to have a beautiful garden which we have transformed into a safe and stimulating environment, it offers lots of opportunities to help children learn and develop. I am passionate about gardening and wildlife and I will be incorporating this into daily activities, including growing fruit and vegetables, taking part in fun activities, playing, relaxing or simply "monkeying around". I am now looking forward to sharing this fantastic space with other curious little kids.
My Experience
Prior to becoming a childminder, I have worked for 6 months as a childminder assistant. I am also a volunteer at my local nursery where I have been lucky to be working alongside some truly inspirational teachers. This has helped me develop my passion for childcare in a professional environment. I am looking to maintain close links with the Nursery to maximise learning opportunities for children in my care.

- EYFS introduction & Learning and development
- Food Hygiene & Food allergy training

My Availability
Strawberry patch childcare is open term time only, From 7am-7pm Monday-Friday.
