About Me
Hello, my name is Gill and I have been a registered childminder since 2001, wanting to follow a career that I love which would allow me to work from home with my own children who are now grown up
Working in South Liverpool (South parkway train/bus station close by) I provide a warm, safe and stimulating environment in which children can learn and grow. Developing good working relationships with parents I aim to provide the highest standard of childcare provision for children and their families.
Children in my care have lots of fun, accessing activities such as well stocked playroom, fantastic outdoor play with teepee, mud kitchen etc. We attend weekly groups including Time to Sign where we learn British Sign Language, Forest School, Active Kids and playgroups. We have frequent outings to places including parks , farms and museums.
I strive to provide a healthy environment for children in my care and this is reflected in my provision of healthy, freshly made meals and snacks, supervised teeth brushing and lots of opportunities for outdoor/physical play.
I offer 15/30 hour funded places and tax free childcare
My Experience
Before begining my family I worked for 10 years as a support worker in a school for children with learning disabilities. This was a job that I loved and it gave me a great deal of experience of working alongside children, their families and other professionals.
Having 3 children of my own and childminding for over 20 years i have gained lots of hands on experience of working with children from newborn to teenagers.

My Availability
Hours are from 7.30 to 5.30
Monday to Thursday term time only (no retainer charged during holidays)
Drop off and collection from Gilmour nursery, infant and junior schools
Currently have 2 full time spaces available
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
Daily fee £50.00 per full day
Hourly £6.00 per hour
Sibling discount offered

Our son was with Gill for 2 years and we were heartbroken to say goodbye. Gill was born to do this job - she fills the kids' days with fun and wonder. They have a lovely weekly schedule going to do signing classes, playgroups and other activities and days out but it is at home where Gill's creativity really shines through and the kids have the best time learning and playing indoors or out in the garden. I would highly recommend Gill to anyone looking for a caring, creative and dedicated childminder to entrust their kids to. She is just incredible. Can't thank her and her family enough.
