About Me

Hi,

My name is Lee and I live in Cathcart, Glasgow with my 2 children Reece (10) and Sophie (5). I have just recently registered as a childminder with the care inspectorate, and I am so excited to be doing a job that I love. I have worked with Barclays bank for the last 10 years, however I have made the big decision to completely change my career to something I have always wanted to do.

I have always enjoyed being around children, and making them happy.As a registered childminder, my aim is to provide a safe, clean and welcoming environment for children to be developed in and also have lot's of fun. As a working mum myself, I understand how important it is for parents to ensure that they feel comfortable leaving their children with me.

Our house has a back and front garden for the children to enjoy, there are a number of parks nearby, as well as toddler groups and libraries that I intend to use. We will also enjoy arts and crafts, baking, reading, as well as plenty of free play.

I am available for school pickups from St Fillan's primary, as that is where my 2 children attend. I can also do drop offs and pickups to local nurseries if required.

I am really looking forward to developing my career as a childminder, and forming great relationships with the families in my care.

My Experience

I have only just registered as a childminder; however I have a lot of experience with children. I have 2 young children of my own and I also come from a large family myself.

I am a member of the Scottish Childminding Association, and I have completed the introduction to childminding course.

I am also first aid trained through the British red cross, and I have been fully PVG checked.
