Welcome to Rainbow Roo Tiney Home!
I'm back!
After taking a few years away from working directly with children, I realised just how much I missed it. I've now returned to my true passion and am delighted to have opened Rainbow Roo Tiney Home as a Tiney-registered childminder.
I'm mum to one amazing eight-year-old boy, and creating a happy, safe and fun environment for children has always been at the heart of everything I do.
For the last four years I've worked as an Early Years Assessor, supporting childcare professionals to gain their qualifications. While I loved helping others develop their careers, I soon realised that my heart belongs with the children. Spending my days behind a computer just wasn't for me!
I have over 20 years of childcare experience, having started my apprenticeship at just 16 years old. Since then I've worked my way through a variety of roles including nursery practitioner, nursery manager, nanny, childminder and Early Years Assessor. This broad experience means I understand child development inside and out and know how to provide high-quality, nurturing care.
My approach is relaxed, child-led and full of fun. I believe childhood should be filled with laughter, adventures, messy play, outdoor exploration and plenty of opportunities to learn through play. I want every child in my care to feel loved, valued, confident and free to be themselves.
I'm currently enrolling for summer and September starts, with flexible spaces available for both funded and fee-paying children.

My Experience
I have over 20 years of experience working with children and families across a wide range of early years settings. Throughout my career I've held roles including nursery manager, after-school club manager, inclusion coordinator, SEN support worker, nanny and childminder.
Most recently, I worked as an Early Years Trainer and Assessor, supporting childcare professionals to gain their qualifications. While I loved mentoring others, I missed working directly with children, which inspired me to return to childminding.
As a mum to my own eight-year-old son, I understand the importance of finding childcare that feels like an extension of home. My setting is warm, nurturing and centred around children's individual interests, helping them to learn through purposeful play, exploration and meaningful experiences.
I have extensive knowledge of child development, the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and supporting children with a range of individual needs. I'm proud to have built a strong reputation with local families for providing caring, reliable and high-quality childcare.

I currently have only two full-time and part-time spaces available for children on Monday -Wednesday.
iSchool pick-up and drop off is available for Cromer Road Primary School children.
Term Time hours:
- Monday to Wednesday: 7:00am – 7:00pm
School Holidays
- Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 7:00pm (subject to availability and local demand).
I also offer occasional evening and weekend babysitting, subject to availability.

- Babysitting from £13.50 per hour
- Childminding from £12.50 per hour

Funded Early Education Places
I offer 15 and 30 hours funded childcare for eligible children aged 0–3 years. Please contact me to discuss your eligibility and funding options.
Private Childcare
£12.50 per hour
School-Age Care
- Breakfast Club & Morning School Run: £15 per session
- After School Care (including collection from Cromer Road Primary School): £20 per session
What's Included
Your child's fee includes:
- A warm, home-from-home environment

- Regular updates and photos throughout the day
- Individual care tailored to your child's interests and development
There are no hidden costs for everyday activities or consumables. If we plan any special trips or paid activities, these will always be discussed with families in advance.
I'm also happy to discuss flexible childcare arrangements or bespoke packages to suit your family's needs wherever possible.
