My Requirements

We are looking for a before and after school nanny to start in January 2024, between 12-20 hours a week, but open to a conversation.

We are also happy to offer more hours if someone is open to doing light housework / nursery duties like kids’ washing etc.

Also open to someone doing more hours during the summer and then being paid pro rata every month. Or doing summer additional hours ad hoc would be great.

We are hoping to find someone we can build a close and long term relationship with, as we have with our previous nanny, who has been working for us full days and unfortunately isn’t able to take on this more part time role.

Responsibilities would include looking after our 6 year old daughter and 3 year old son, including getting them ready and taking them to school and pre school and then picking them up, cooking dinner and caring for them after school.

The hours we would ideally be looking for are 7:30 - 9am for before school and 3:30 - 5:30 after school. School holidays 7:30-5:30 is the ideal, but again open to just keeping the usual term time hours or ad hoc.

The school and pre school are in different locations with a hill in between so we really need someone who can drive to ensure they can both be dropped and collected on time.

We are all set up on Nannytax and pay pension, NI contributions and holiday pay as a full employer.

Salary dependent on experience, we are hoping to agree a gross hourly rate.
