My Experience

I have worked in the childcare sector since 2006 and have extensive experience caring for and supporting children across a range of ages and developmental stages. I currently manage a quadruple Outstanding nursery, an achievement I am incredibly proud of. I successfully led the nursery through its last two inspections, first as Deputy Manager and most recently as Nursery Manager. Helping to maintain the highest standards of care, education, and leadership.

My training is fully up to date, including Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, and under 2’s training. As part of my management role, I also lead and deliver staff training, supporting colleagues in their professional development and helping to ensure exceptional practice throughout the nursery.

With 20 years of hands-on experience, I am confident in providing safe, nurturing, and engaging care tailored to each child’s individual needs. My experience has given me a strong understanding of child development, safeguarding, and creating positive environments where children can thrive.

My Qualifications

I hold an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and have completed a wide range of training throughout my career, including Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, Food Hygiene, Health and Safety, Safer Recruitment, and many other courses relevant to childcare and child development.

Working with children isn’t just my job, it’s something I genuinely love. Alongside my professional experience, I am a proud auntie to my two-year-old nephew. I regularly help with his nursery drop-offs and spend time caring for and having fun with him throughout the week and weekends.

I am committed to keeping my training and knowledge up to date, ensuring that every child in my care is safe, happy, and well supported.

My Availability

Due to my full-time role in the Nursery, my babysitting availability is primarily during evenings and weekends. I work a variety of shifts throughout the week, which means I may also be available for some weekday afternoons on occasion.

Whilst I am generally available on weekends, there may be certain dates where I am unavailable due to nursery commitments such as open days, family events, and seasonal activities.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

My standard babysitting rate is £15 per hour. With nearly 20 years of childcare experience, current qualifications, and my role as a Nursery Manager, I aim to provide a safe, caring, and reliable service that parents can feel confident in.

Please note that my standard rate is based on caring for children from one family. If care is required for multiple families at the same time, my rate may increase depending on the number of children and circumstances. This is something I am always happy to discuss in advance so that expectations are clear for everyone.
