About Me

I am a qualified primary school teacher of 14 years and I have been working as a fully registered childminder for just over 3 years since the birth of my little girl. I also have a son who is 9. We enjoy lots of outdoor learning and go to parks, soft play and toddler groups each day. I am open Tuesday to Friday between 745 and 430 and have an unexpected vacancy coming up from October.

My Experience

I have been Childminding for 3.5 years and prior to this I was an early years reception teacher and was teaching for just over 14 years. I have lots of experience of children with additional needs and I have done lots of additional training such as safe sleep, hygge approach, how children learn and develop in different ways.

My Qualifications

Qualified teacher status, Geography degree, fully registered childminder

Ofsted Good Provider Logo
Good
29 May 2025
Children build strong, secure relationships with their childminder, who provides a broad curriculum supporting communication, language and personal development. They enjoy imaginative play, storytelling and physical activities, making good progress overall. Parents value the regular updates and guidance for home learning, and safeguarding practices are effective. However, the setting could make better use of information from parents about children's starting points to strengthen initial planning and assessment.
