Hello, I’m Sophie, a warm, caring, and reliable nanny with a natural, nurturing approach.

I am currently looking for a local part-time nanny position with some flexibility. I would ideally love a role where I can bring my daughter (aged 3.5) with me, creating a gentle and social environment where children can learn, play, and grow together.

I primarily work within the family home, as I find this helps children feel comfortable and settled in their own familiar space and routine.

Alongside home-based care, I also love incorporating outdoor and hands-on experiences. I have access to a local allotment, where children can enjoy fresh air, explore nature, play in the sand, and get involved in simple, creative activities if this is something parents are happy with.

I also have previous experience working as a nanny for two different families, which gave me a strong foundation in childcare, routines, and supporting children’s individual needs.

In addition, I have a background in baking, having worked for a bakery and run my own small baking business. I love bringing this into nannying through simple, fun baking activities with children, which is something they often really enjoy and learn from.

I also run a part-time cleaning business, which reflects my strong sense of organisation, cleanliness, and high standards in maintaining safe and tidy environments.

I am currently in the process of obtaining an enhanced DBS check and will be ready to begin work once this is completed.

I’m passionate about creating a calm, supportive environment where children feel safe, seen, and encouraged to be themselves. I’m always happy to adapt to each family’s individual needs and routines.
