About Me

Hello! My name is Megan, and I’m an experienced, Level 3 qualified childcare practitioner offering nannying and babysitting services across Mid Cornwall.

I hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years and have paediatric first aid training. I have previous experience working in nursery settings and as a private nanny.

I’ve had the pleasure of caring for children ranging from newborns through to 12 years old, giving me experience across a wide range of ages and developmental stages. I particularly enjoy helping children learn, grow and explore through play, whilst providing a safe, happy and nurturing environment.

I have also undertaken training in both Montessori and Waldorf (Steiner) educational approaches, giving me an appreciation for child-led learning, creativity, independence and supporting each child’s individual development. I enjoy incorporating age-appropriate activities that encourage curiosity, exploration and confidence.

I have experience supporting children with a range of additional needs, including deafness, autism and physical disabilities. I understand the importance of adapting activities, communication and care to suit each child’s individual needs, while helping them feel comfortable, included and supported. I aim to provide a patient, nurturing and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

I’m friendly, reliable, patient and approachable, and understand how important it is for parents to feel comfortable and confident with the person caring for their children.

I have my own reliable vehicle with ISOFIX and can offer flexible childcare arrangements, including regular nannying, occasional babysitting, evenings and weekends.
