About Me
My name is AnneMarie Smith I am 48 years old and i am qualified OFSTED childminder rated GOOD. I live with my husband who is my assistant and we have two children who are 17 and 20 years old, we also have a small dog called Kiana. We live in the Bedgrove area just off Tring Road.
I offer a friendly, happy and safe environment in my setting.
We base ourselves in the summer house specifically for the children with lots of resources & craft activities all accessible to the children. It also has a kitchenette & toilet. This room has immediate access to our garden which has a patio area for the children with various outdoor toys which we have put all year round.
My Experience
My previous experience has been in retail but it has always been child orientated. I worked for Disney for nearly 8 years and John Lewis where I was based in the childrens section which covers nursery, showing how various buggies are used, shoe fitting, clothes, toys and school uniform which I loved.
My Qualifications
I have completed my ICP in Home Based Childcare and Paediatric First Aid in Childcare.
My Availability
Monday & Friday spaces available now and spaces from July onwards available.
Opening hours are Monday-Thursday 7.30-4.30
Term time & all year round availability
My Fees
- Childminding from £9.00 per hour
Outside of funding hours we charge £9.00

Both of my children went to Annemarie from the age of 1 until 3 or 4 and had the best time with her. The care she provides is second to none and the creativity that she brings to their play is amazing! Annemarie became an extension of our family helping us to bring up our children, offering advice and support on all challenges of parenting! The boys still talk about her now at 5 and 7, and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a childminder who will teach, care for and nurture your children in a home from home environment.

Both my son and daughter have grown up from babies being in the care of Annemarie and Dom.
Annemarie offers an ever changing array of resources to stimulate and challenge the children’s thinking and keep them engaged . The summerhouse and the outdoor space is amazing and you know the children are having the best time whilst at ABC.
The children are encouraged to be creative and make the most exciting imaginative play zones or art pieces.
Both of my children have developed a love of the outdoors from Annemarie and Dom. Exploring the outdoors on walks or planting new flowers in the garden, they both know how important the outside is.
We could not recommend ABC childcare enough!
