My Experience

I have had many varied opportunities caring for children that have helped me increase my knowledge and skills.

Currently, I work within AAC, helping children and adults with speech difficulties. Prior to this I worked within a special needs school as a health care assistant (with children with complex medical needs) for 3.5yrs. I have also worked as a nursery key person, babysitter, summer camp assistant, after-school club assistant, teaching assistant, and healthcare assistant within hospitals.

I am considered empathetic, bubbly and caring; therefore, I find huge fulfilment supporting children in their educational and social development. Also, I am highly creative and imaginative, so I love being able to play alongside any children in my care. I am also a responsible and highly organized individual, which has always helped me within my childcare roles.

I hold a full UK driving licence with business insurance so I am able to do pick-up/drop-offs and also take the child(ren) on trips out. I am also fully DBS checked and have a paediatric first-aid certificate.
