About Me

I have 3 children of my own who are now adults. I live with my daughter in a bungalow 3 minutes walk from High Barnet underground. I offer a fun, safe, warm and caring home environment where children can learn and thrive. I have a well equipped play room and a large garden which the children love. I visit lots of different parks, libraries, toddler groups, soft play, a local farm, museums and Children centres.

My Experience

I have been a childminder for over 20 years. I follow the EYFS and plan activities and experiences for the children by considering their age, stage of development, their own interests and any interest they want to explore themselves. I am part of a childminder support group who meet regularly in the parks to do activities, crafts, bug hunts, or an activities which supports a topic that we’re doing ie Rainbows, exploring colours and mixing powder paint in puddles and jumping in them of course, we even do a sports day and medal ceremony.

My Qualifications

NVQ3 in childcare, First Aid for Childminders (Paediatric First Aid), Quality assured, Food allergy, Child protection, EYFS, Speech and language, Phonics and Makaton training etc. I continually train, improve and develop the care I provide to help children be happy and reach their full potential.

My Availability

Monday-Thursdays, my core hours are 8-6pm, please feel free to contact me to discuss your needs.

My Fees

  • Childminding from £8.00 per hour
  • Babysitting from £12.00 per hour

Parent’s to provide food up to their child’s 1st Birthday, nappies, creams and prescribed medication. My fees include all foods, drinks, healthy snacks from 1 year of age, toddler and outing fees, and wet wipes.

Excellent, friendly childminder.

I looked at lots of childminders and nurseries and when I found Pat I knew we had the right place. The setting is brilliant with an open plan play area leading straight onto the large garden. Pat takes the children to lots of different playgroups, music groups and parks so they are always busy. Although my daughter has had issues being without me, Pat has worked really hard to make her feel happy and helped her settle. She is really approachable and friendly and I would definitely recommend her setting to others. My daughter has been there for 5 months now, 3 days a week and i'm sure she will really miss Pat and the other children when she is bigger and leaves to go to nursery/ school.
