I aim to provide a clear understanding of the high-quality childcare service I offer in a warm, safe, and nurturing home environment.
I live in the Chatterton Village area of Bromley with my husband, and together we have three grown-up sons aged 30, 28, and 22, as well as a stepdaughter aged 29. My experience as both a parent and a professional childminder has given me strong, well-rounded childcare skills. I am confident in caring for children of all ages and have completed a range of relevant training courses (details available upon request).

I provide a caring, home-from-home setting where children feel secure and valued. My setting includes:

Daily Activities & Outings
I believe children learn best through experience and play. I regularly take children out to:

* Other fun and engaging local activities
These outings support children’s social skills, confidence, and physical development.
Healthy Eating
I provide nutritious, balanced meals and snacks, encouraging children to enjoy a variety of foods and meet their “5 a day” fruit and vegetable intake.
Safeguarding & Care
Safeguarding is a top priority in my setting. I strictly follow local authority safeguarding guidelines to ensure every child is safe, secure, and well cared for at all times.
Supporting Families
As a parent myself, I truly understand how difficult it can be to leave your child in someone else’s care. I work closely with families to make this transition as smooth and reassuring as possible, building strong, trusting relationships from the very beginning.
My goal is for every child to have a positive, enriching experience filled with fun, learning, and laughter.

I have been a registered childminder for over nine years, providing consistent, high-quality care for children of all ages.
At my most recent Ofsted inspection, I was graded “Good” overall, with “Outstanding” in most areas, reflecting my strong commitment to delivering excellent childcare.
I am dedicated to continuous professional development and regularly take part in online training, webinars, and child development courses. This ensures I stay up to date with current best practices and can provide the highest standard of care and learning opportunities for every child.
My Qualifications
Qualifications & Registration
I am a fully qualified and registered childminder with Ofsted, ensuring my setting meets national standards for childcare and education.
I hold a valid Paediatric First Aid certificate and have completed Level 3 Safeguarding training, enabling me to respond confidently to children’s needs and maintain a safe, secure environment at all times.

Alison is one fabulous childminder ! We had being so lucky when a friend of ours had recommended her to us, as we struggled to find the right childminder. But the moment we walked through Alison's house door, we almost immediately knew she is the perfect "match in heaven" for our 3 years old son.
She is very charming, warm and welcoming, has a caring and loving approach, fun to be around but yet responsible. She always makes enough time to chat about our son's daily routine and progress. There is also communication book, which tells me about what my son has being doing each day.
Our son is always very happy in the morning to go to Alison's house and is looking forward to the day, as she is regularly taking him to the parks, toddler playgroups, have a special outings planned or visitors too. I often receive cute photos and videos from her about our son's fun activities and this makes me feel really reassured that he is in good hands, as I miss him very much while I am at work.
She was even keen on taking our son to the Speech Therapy session, when I could't. He was struggling little bit with two languages in our bilingual household, so the sessions were very necessary for him. Alison started doing special speech exercises with him on suggestion from the therapist and since then he is much more confident boy in expressing himself in English language.
Alison is very conscientious with kids meals too, with a healthy and well balanced diet.
Her home is always very clean and beautifully designed to the point of "show house", which worried me at the beginning. But when she lead me across her lovely garden towards her garden house I relaxed suddenly, as there it was totally brand new and recently re-designed playhouse for kids with all the fun toys and activity games they can possibly dream off doing and playing with. So there is definitely enough room for all the messy play which kids love so much.
She is also very happy to play football with my son in the garden too.
In general she has become very essential person in our lives, we are feeling very blessed to get to know her.
It's being especially very nice to hear that our son has become almost as the new member of her family, where she has raced three well behaved sons of her own.
I should also mention, that Alison's house settings are perfect in a way, that she is working with her step-daughter Grace age 21, who is her assistant and together they make wonderful team.
I would not hesitate to recommend Alison to any parent, as I know my son is growing into very happy and confident boy partially thanks to the fact that she is her childminder.
There is no better feeling in the world when you know that when you wave goodbye to your child in the morning, you are leaving him in the hands of person you can 100% trust and rely on.
