My Experience

I am 24 years old and recently left my job to travel. I was previously working as a therapeutic support practitioner for children in care homes across Yorkshire and Lancashire. I have worked with many different children in a setting to provide them with care as authentic to a parents care as possible. My role including school runs, cooking, cleaning and also giving therapy to the children whilst caring for them. Many of the children I have cared for have had emotional and behavioral issues and some with special needs. I believe this has given me strong capabilities to deal with most situations in regards to childcare.

I have a full driving licence and up to date DBS check, I am willing to use my own vehicle to transport your children and I can do night shifts if you require them.

My Qualifications

I have had training in therapeutic care and also in TITCH training, this training is to de-escalate situations and to calm children in distress. I have also been taught restraint techniques to use if a child is putting themselves or others in danger to be able to keep them safe without causing them harm.

My Availability

Currently I am available most day unless stated otherwise.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour

My rates start at £10ph for weekdays and £11 on weekends.

If you are to require overnight care this can be discussed.
