About Me
Hello! My name is Emily, I am 31 years old and I am a qualified Primary School teacher currently working in a local primary school.
I am looking to tutor children in Reception/KS1 to support with their English and maths skills. I am very confident in the teaching of phonics and early maths.
I am currently teaching in reception but have previously taught in year 2.
I am open to supporting children in KS2 with English and Maths.
My Experience
I am currently teaching in reception and have previous experience in KS1. I trained across all year groups (Recption-Year 6).
I have nieces and nephews which I regularly look after and babysit!
My Qualifications
Degree in Primary Education (QTS). I studied Primary Education and St Mary’s University. During my degree, I specialised in Early Years but I am qualified for all primary ages.
Previous to university, I had experience volunteering in a local primary school and a local Pre-School.
My Availability
As I am a working primary school teacher my availability is mainly early evening weekdays and Saturday mornings.
On Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays I can be available from 4.30 for tutoring and babysitting.
