About Me

Hi. My name is Debbie.
I have been a childminder since 2016. I have 4 children of my own. I am first aid trained an have done all the relevant safeguarding courses, I am from a very large family so have plenty of experience with children.

My Experience

I have 4 children of my own and have a very large family which has provided me with all the relevant experiences I would need to look after children.

My Qualifications

I completed my childminding training in 2015. I have also been on paediatric first aid courses and all safeguarding training, they are all kept up to date

My working hours are 7.30 till 5 Monday to Friday.

The childminder creates a homely, inclusive environment where children feel safe and build positive relationships with each other and the childminder. Consistent rules promote good behaviour, sharing and mutual respect, while emotional wellbeing and healthy lifestyles are also well supported. Safeguarding arrangements are effective, and communication with parents and local schools is strong, helping to ensure children's needs are met. The childminder continues to reflect on her practice, drawing on advice from local authority advisers and her own research. She is currently reviewing her provision to better meet the needs of older children in her care.
