My Summary
About Me
Welcome to Home to Home Childcare
As an Ofsted registered childminder and a mother of two, I offer a warm, home-based setting where your child will feel safe, loved, and happy. My focus is on creating a nurturing environment that feels like a true "home away from home," where children are free to learn and play.
At my house, learning isn't just confined to specific activities—it's integrated into our entire day. We use a play-based approach, but we also turn everyday routines into valuable learning opportunities. Whether it's developing language skills during conversation, role playing or singing or building independence while getting ready to go outside helping to put shoes and coat on, I ensure every experience contributes to your child's development. I keep my group size small (2-3 kids in a rare situation I may have 4 kids) to give each child the individual attention they deserve.
Operating Hours: Monday-Thursday, 7:45AM - 3:30/4:30 PM (term time) hours can be flexible for for full time hours. 7:45/8- 12/1pm or 12-4:30pm for part time hours.
Group Size: Small and homely, with a maximum of 3 children and only one child under the age of 12 months.
Services: Play-based learning, messy play, we have the flexibility to go out and about to parks and green areas to get some fresh air and playgroups. My house is home and does not look like a nursery.
My house: I have an open plan longer and kitchen and a enclosed garden. Babies are provided with a travel cot to sleep upstairs. I have two children now in years 7 and 8 studying in Salisbury and a 2 year old very friendly cocker spaniel. Our dog grew up with children and does have some (he tend to sleep most of the day) contact with the children when they come.
