About Me
Hi my name is Katherine Summers and I live in Watlington i am happily married with 2 beautiful children. I am a ofsted registered child minder who offers children a home from home enviroment i will be following the EYFS so the children in my care get the best possible start by learning through play. I have just been graded by ofsted and i got a 'OUTSTANDING’ which i am absolute over the moon with. We do lots of fun things like painting, chalks, play dough, cooking, sand and water play, lots of role play, I have a an outdoor area with swings and slide and a playhouse. I provide healthy nutrious food and snacks and we also attend toddler groups, the library, park, church farm etc. we have recently took on an allotment just at the end of the road from us it’s an amazing space for the children to grow fruit and vegetables, we have a mud kitchen and chickens there too. My Experience
I have been Childminding since 2011 and have looked after children from 4 weeks old through to 14 years old. I have had some experience of working in our local pre school while I was completing my level 3 diploma.

Katherine has been an absolute godsend, she fitted me in brilliantly,accommodating the hours,school drop off,etc without a quibble. She's always willing to take on more hours,even with having 2 young children of her own. My boys absolutely love her,they can't wait to get there to play and talk about her at home all the time. She is so reassuring,I didn't have any troubles leaving my boys there right from the start. She always welcomes them with a smiling face and does everything possible to make them happy and content. Her house is so homely and she has such a wide range of toys for all ages and does activities all the time. Mainly Katherine always wants to do what's best for my children,asking me how I discipline them,etc so they aren't getting mixed signals.she reall treats them as if they are her own.
