About Me
Hi my name is Sarah and I offer a fully inclusive service and I am registered to provide the Free Early Education Entitlement for Three and Four year olds of up to 15 hours and the extended 30 hours I live close to the centre of Faversham. I have two children aged 22 and 24. I am a non-smoker. I do not have any pets. I have been registered with Ofsted since April, 1998 and received 'outstanding' in my last Ofsted inspection. I also have a BA Degree in Early Years. I offer lots of different activities and outings for children and always take into account children's preferences and interests when planning their day. I have a dedicated playroom which enables indoor/outdoor play. I attend different clubs and make use of parks, library and local beaches etc.
My Experience
I started childminding in April, 1998. I have looked after a number of children ranging from 3 months to 11 years and have cared for some children with special needs. I have also been able to adapt to any parents work needs, such as shift patterns etc. I have worked in a pre-school nursery close to Faversham and was employed there for a number of years.
My Qualifications
I have various qualifications ranging from the basic childminding course I completed before I started looking after children, plus a current first aid certificate and a certificate for safeguarding children. I have also completed my NVQ 3 and 4 in child studies and have just completed, through the Open University, a Foundation Degree in Early Years and have now gained a BA in Early Years..
I am now registered to provide the Free Early Education Entitlement for Three and Four year olds of up to 15 hours and also the extended 30 hours funding. I am also registered for children on the free for 2 scheme.
My Availability
My working hours are 7.30 - 6, five days a week. I take one weeks holiday a year. I can be flexible with parents working hours including shift patterns etc.
