I am 39 years old, bilingual (Italian and English) with dual citizenship, and a professional hula hoop artist as well as a devoted nanny.
I am a compassionate and responsible individual, with lots of patience, warmth, empathy, energy and creativity, as well as a genuine passion for childcare. I believe in gentle and empowering methods, and am very outdoorsy, though I also love arts and crafts, stories, forts and snuggles at home.
My Experience
I have been working professionally in childcare since October 2017, as well as au pair experience (including care of a newborn) earlier in life.
I am nanny to a wonderful four year old girl in Kentish Town, who I have had the privilege of caring for since she was eight months old.
We have enjoyed doing everything under the sun together: parks, playgrounds, soft play, museums, farms, playgroups, all sorts of art projects and messy play during lockdown, science experiments and magic shows when she had chicken pox, cooking healthy meals and treats together, cuddling, building forts and reading stories, as well as lots of silliness and laughter throughout our day.
After my hours with this child dropped as she started school, I have worked in several temporary positions caring for babies from five weeks to twelve months. I am now searching for further temporary positions, or something ongoing.
I am available for full days on Thursdays and Fridays, and may be able to add Wednesdays also for te right family.
My Qualifications
I have a degree in devised theatre and creative writing, an enhanced DBS, and a paediatric first aid certificate. I am fully vaccinated.
My Availability
I am looking for full days on Thursdays and Fridays, either in the Welwyn Hatfield area or in London.
I have additional availability Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.

Jennie has done some ad hoc babysitting for us and has been great with all 3 of my children - 0, 5 and 7 years old.
She is calm, friendly and warm.
I really like the way she speaks to my older boys, answering their countless questions and taking the time to read with them. My baby has taken a real shine to Jennie and I think Jennie would be a lovely nanny for a family, especially with a baby, as she's great at singing lullabies, playing on the floor etc.
