About Me
Hi there, I'm Rachel. I have been a registered childminder since 2017. I love caring for & nurturing children and helping each child be an individual. I value being able to view each child's little quirks as part of their unique personality.
I have 3 children of my own, aged 16, 13 and 9.
My childcare setting is in a beautiful rural area and we have loads of activities to avail of right on our doorstep. We love being outdoors and we have a safe enclosed play area in my setting. I provide a wide range of toys, play invitations, stories, songs, crafts and activities every day.
My husband is registered as a Category 2 Assistant and works alongside me. We love being able to work as a team throughout each day.
I know the difficulties of choosing a childcare provider and how important that decision is for your family, I have been a full time working mum and used a registered childminder for 6 years before becoming registered myself.
I aim to provide a home from home to children but also support to parents as they leave their children to go to work, it's not easy for parents and I aim to make that as seamless as possible.
My Experience
I am well experienced in caring for children of all ages, supporting their development is one of my favourite aspects of my job. Speech development, movement development and sleep routines are a few areas I thrive with.
My Qualifications
We both have Paediatric First Aid , Health and Safety and Child Safeguarding certificates all in place.
My Availability
I am open Monday to Friday from 8am to 5.30pm.
My Fees
- Childminding from £4.50 per hour
Fees are charged as a day rate. Current fees are £42 per day. I accept Universal Credit applicants or offer the Tax Free Childcare and NICSS 15% discounts subject to eligibility.
My Local Schools
