I am a fully qualified Infant and Toddler Holistic Sleep Consultant, a fully qualified Early Years Educator and a Forest School practitioner with experience working in a nursery, reception classes, childminding and even co-running private dance classes.
I am an easygoing, friendly, and caring individual who strongly believes children should be treated with respect and given a voice in their own experiences. I view each child as a unique individual who thrives through positive relationships, meaningful connection, and engaging, enjoyable learning experiences rather than through punitive approaches.
I have experience as a home-educating parent to two vibrant children, one of whom is currently in their second year of University , while the other is undertaking both practical and academic studies and is a first year university student.
My approach to parenting and childcare aligns with the principles of gentle or respectful parenting. I aim to treat every child with understanding, empathy, and respect, fostering a nurturing environment where they feel valued and heard.
In addition, I follow the Forest School ethos, encouraging children to spend meaningful time in nature. This approach supports their development into confident, independent, and creative individuals who learn through exploration and hands-on experiences outdoors.
As a night nanny I work with families to provide tailored overnight support, adapting to individual needs, routines, and developmental stages.

- Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
- Nannying from £17.00 per hour (net)
Babysitting: £20per hr
Nannying: £18 per hr/net
Night nanny: £22 per hr
Minimum booking fee £60

Helena has been looking after our girls for several months now and we can honestly say that life has gotten quite a bit easier. She is reliable, has never been late, the girls have always felt comfortable with her and in general she has a calm warm presence. Would recommend.

Helena simply stopped replying to messages when we were in the process of arranging for her to care for my son. Wasted my time and left me hanging on - incredibly unprofessional.

My apologies, I had issues with my phone and was unable to access the app or the contacts information.
Helena is lovely with our son and understands that as first time parents we are particularly choosy about how he spends his time when we are working. He enjoys plenty of activities and tummy time and she’s great at logging his activities with us. She also enjoys taking him out and about which we try to incorporate into our routine with him naturally. She’s open to any feedback we may have and offers her own solutions that she has gained from her experience.
