About Me
Hi, I'm Lyndsey, owner of 'lyndsey's childminding family' based in Shotley Bridge. I am a proud mother to two grown up girls. I like to think of myself as a fun loving, young at heart, bubbly, second auntie to the children. I have 2 dogs that join us sometimes on our adventures out during the holidays.
I'm not your usual type of minder as I only care for children from 4+, meaning we have no pushchairs, no feeds, no nappy changes to hinder our adventures. Rain, hail or shine you can rest be assured we are out enjoying every element.
My Experience
I have 17 years in child-minding, along with this I have worked in a school, as a school administrator. I have also worked as a Senior Play Worker in a kids out of school club, I have helped run a toddlers group, worked as a SEN TA also worked a SEN Supervisory Assistant.
So as you can see I've had a vast experience with children.
My Qualifications
Level 3, in children's care, learning and development
Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene.
Level 2 In Safeguarding,
Pediatric First Aid, Prevent,
Domestic Abuse Training just to name just a few.
My Availability
I can collect from most schools in the area. Shotley Junior's, Beechdale, Consett Infants and Consett Juniors.
I provide BEFORE and AFTER school care, then offer all day care during the SCHOOL HOLIDAYS.
7am start- 5.30/6pm finish.
Currently I have space left on a couple of days after school and every morning for breakfast club.
