About Me

I’m a 41 year old Nusery Nurse, originally from Yorkshire, but now living in Scotland. I’m married with one son who is now 16 years old.
I love running, swimming, walking, reading and cooking.
I like all pets and have no allergies.
I was at one time a qualified lifeguard and a children’s water safety teacher, so I am very able swimmer.
I have also trained in children’s first aid, and am looking to gain an up to date certificate again.
I was also DBS checked while working in schools, but that has also lapsed, although I am happy to complete any checks required.
I also speak German to a good level.

My Experience

I qualified in 1995 with an NNEB qualification in childcare. I have worked as a private sole charge Nanny all over Europe for the last 22 years and have excellent references.
I recently went back to study with The Open University, and undertook an up to date child care qualification while working one day a week in a local primary school with children with additional support needs, plus my nannying job.
I have worked as a sole charge part time Nanny for the last 8 years with the same family.

My Availability

I’m available all day Mon, Tue and Wed, with occasional weekend availability, and for babysitting. I would be also be happy to occasionally stay for overnight care. I am also willing to travel for the right job. Looking for a minimum of 26 hours over the 3 days.
