About Me
My name is Tarana Huq. I am a mother of 2 grown up children; my son is a Chartered Accountant and my daughter is a Financial Services Professional. I am an Ofsted registered and qualified Childminder based in Merton Park, with over 20 years experience. I was once featured in the local newspaper for my services to Childcare. I live very close to Morden Underground and the bus station. I am also a 2 minute walk from Poplar Primary School and Mostyn Gardens. I very much enjoy looking after children from all backgrounds and cultures and I offer a high quality childcare service for children of all ages above 3 years old. My home is equipped with and indoor play area and a dedicated patio play area with a roof for rainy days and a large garden with swings, a slide and sand play, which also includes a vast array of multicultural and multi-development toys. I offer a fun, loving and safe environment for children and children warm to me. I will follow the EYFS framework to ensure that your child receives appropriate and equal knowledge to everyone else. In my setting, I engage the children in various activities, including arts and crafts, baking, music, pretend play, messy play, outdoor play, reading and Maths. I also enjoy taking the children on outings, including the Library, farms, museums and the park, all free of charge. I also provide home-cooked, healthy and nutritious food from all over the world.

I have over 20 years experience as a registered Childminder, having also previously worked in several Day Nurseries.
My Qualifications
Pre-school Playgroups Foundation Course, Paediatric First Aid Course, Lead Safeguarding, Observing & Planning for Play, Rules, Praise & Ignore, Equal Opportunities, Brain Gym and Developmental, Behaviour and Relationships, Physical and Creative Development, etc.
My Availability
I am available from Mondays to Fridays, from before to after school.
