About Me
Hello everyone, I currently work with children who have disabilities, I have three children of my own, all 3 are at school. I have different days a week free at the moment, with some evenings and weekends. I enjoy working with children, I feel I have lots of experience being a mum, playgroup assistant and a support worker for children who have disabilities. I am happy to help in one off situations, or regularly on my days off. We usually have a fun filled time and enjoy lots of fresh air. I have an amazing little dog (sausage ?) , 2 cats and 2 rabbits (basically a small zoo!) So I am used to animals and happy to be around them. I also have done a role which incorporated cleaning and housekeeping - thisnis also something Iam happy to do. Please feel free to contact me if I can help your family.
My Experience
I have been working with children since I was 17 (many moons ago !)
I have my diploma in nursery nursing, then went on to do my Nvq level 3 In childcare.
My first employment was as a residential support worker with children who had special needs ( for 12 years) then I had my 3 lovely children and I worked part at a local playgroup (7 years). I have up to date training in first aid, safeguarding and a current dbs check.
I also have training in epilepsy, gastro feeding and manual handling - to name just a few.
I currently work locally with young people who have different disabilities and communication difficulties on a shift/rota Basis.

Diploma-NNEB, NVQ Level 3, Safeguarding, first aid, current dbs, food hygiene,
My Availability
I’am currently working different days with nothing set in stone, I'm more than happy to help with adhoc childcare on my days off or happy to help out with evening babysitting and in the school holidays.
