About Me

I am an caring, honest, passionate, creative and a kind-hearted person. An experienced nanny skilled at creating schedules, forging meaningful relationships, and maintaining routines. I listen carefully and follows directions well. I manage parental expectations, going above and beyond to build trusted, lasting rapport with young children

My Experience

I have three years Nanny experience. Two years as a live in nanny and 1 year as a live out nanny. The children i cared for were aged from 11 months to 5 years. Both nanny roles I cared for two children. Within these role my duties were getting the children up and preparing a healthy breakfast. Helping them get dressed and ready for nursery/school. Drop and pick up to and from school. Having playtime including messy play, water play, doing some arts and crafts or building. Taking them to activities e.g Swimming, ballet and to playgroups. When playing I would let the children plan and lead activities. I would also created different activities based on their interests to help with their development and reach milestones. I taught phonic and would have reading time. Doing the children’s laundry and keeping their rooms tidy, organising their toys. Keeping the house tidy making sure everything was put away.

I have one year experience as an au-pair caring for two children. They were 1 and 3 when starting and 2 and 4 when I left the role. Within in this role my duties were, waking up the children and getting them ready for school. Preparing breakfast and nutrition meals throughout the day. Dropping and picking up from school. Bath time and then putting the children to bed. Doing laundry, Ironing and putting the clothes away. Making the bed and keeping the room tidy. Helping with homework if needed and having reading time. Teaching potting training with books and having a reward system. Creating fun activities that the children enjoy and activities that help with their development. Running errands, picking up grocery.

I have three years experience working as a nursery practitioner caring for children between the ages of 3 months to 4 years. Within this role I created and planned activities for key children to help with their learning and development following the EYFS. I completed learning journeys to show the children progress, focussing on areas the would need developing. I would carry out everyday task including making bottles, changing nannies, organising meals times. I supported children and parents with potty training. Facilitating quiet time and putting the children down for naps, making the environment calm and soothing for the children. I worked really well in a team with other nursery practitioners.
