My little boy spent 2 days a week with Nicola from the age of 8 months old to 4 years when he started school. Nicola was an absolute dream throughout! Her home was welcoming, clean and tidy. The playroom was fun and regularly refreshed, decorated according to the seasons, with artwork lining the walls that the kids had created! My little boy absolutely loved every minute spent with her. He came on so much with his speech, physical skills, recognition of numbers, letters, shapes, songs etc. Nicola helped with toilet training and all elements of his milestones! Nicola provided healthy nutritious meals, and a multitude of fun activities daily. I was kept up to date on the baby days app and sent regular photos which is lovely. My son has asthma and was at times extremely unwell, Nicola was brilliant, she was thorough with learning about his individual breathing changes, accustoming herself with his emergency deterioration plan and always keeping in touch with me at regular intervals if he even had a slight cold (which was frequent!). I always felt comfortable knowing my son was safe and well looked after by Nic.

Aside from the childminding, Nicola was always on the end of phone if I needed any support - for example on how to manage a certain element of challenging behaviour my son was presenting with at home, how to help him transition through leap periods smoothly, giving me tips on how to help him learn new things, how to help increase his pinser grip etc.

I would recommend Nic to anyone looking for a caring, loving, knowledgable and super fun child minder!
