About Me

Hello, my name is Kimberly and I am very caring, passionate, enthusiastic about working with children and families.

I have recently became a first time mum to my son, who is now 10 months old. I absolutely love being a mum and my son amazes me everyday on how clever, mischievous and beautiful he is!
Being a mum has opened my eyes a lot to the parents side of childcare and has made me more compassionate, understanding to families needs as a whole.

I am looking for a different experience in working with children and to become a live out nanny, I would love to be able to bring my son to work with me as well! If this is possible of course.
I can provide exceptional childcare and education, I have great knowledge of the Curriculum for excellence and would be able to provide teaching experiences for your child.

My Experience

I have 13 years experience working in different settings such as being a live in Au Pair (Australia), nurseries and after school clubs.
My primary experience is working in a nursery setting, working with a variety of age ranges between 0-5 years.
My most recent role was in Kelvinside Academy Nursery (Glasgow, West End) as a Senior practitioner overseeing 30 children and 4 staff members.
I have an HNC in Early Education and childcare, I am SSSC (Scottish social services council) registered. I am also working towards my BA (honours degree) in Early childhood studies.

In my career I have been able to provide exceptional learning experience for children, I am very nurturing, gentle and caring. I believe these are fundamental skills to have when looking after children.
