You will notice some of the reviews are about a year old, this is due to us working with the same families still, which we are very lucky to do, we don’t often get an opening and this only really happens if the child or children start school etc..
Children are my passion. I Love watching them blossom and grow... I treat all children as thou they are one of my own. Plenty of play and cuddles.
I have a few lovely families now that I do babysitting for, as well as nannying.
We do collect from Nursery and supply the car seats..
We provide you with a childcare Daily Diary which we fill in with details of food eaten, nappies changed, sleep times and activities done.
There is a section in the book for you to jot down notes for me and vice versa ( our families love them!)
I can also work Saturdays,( I try to do farm visits, soft play and parks)
Sunday’s catered for if an emergency
Newborn experience ( we have recently finished overnights which we started with a two week old to give mum 2 nights rest a week) we did this for a few months.

I have had 5 children myself..having 3 under 2 years at one stage, which gave me loads of experience with timekeeping, patience, multitasking.
I had twins in 1991 so experience with tiny newborns. They were 4lb 11 and 5lb 6.
Worked in a primary school, working alongside the teacher in a reception class.
All aspects of learning, playing, observations, first aid etc.
Worked in a nursery, mostly in the baby room.
Day to day care for 3 months to 2 years. Feeding, changing, playing and garden fun. Observations on all ages.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.50 per hour
- Nannying from £12.50 per hour (gross)
£12.50 an hour for general babysitting of an evening. From 7pm.
Nannying...1 child £12.50. 2 children £15.00 hourly rate....
Overnight rate to be discussed. ( £15 an hour at present for newborn)
If it’s a full day, rates can be discussed.
£5 extra to collect from nursery to include insurance and petrol.

Loraine and Sammy are great always on time very professional know what there doing and currently looking after are 17 month old and 8 year old and doing an amazing job

Since returning to work about a month ago, Lorraine and her daughter Sammy have been looking after my 3 little children once a week. It’s a great help knowing they are coming to the house, as I have to leave early for work. They are very good with the children who look forward to them coming. They have been to the park and enjoyed doing baking. They have also been a great help doing occasional work when I needed cover for some training mornings. Sammy has sent me photos on WhatsApp which I love. Highly recommended.

Sammy and I are enjoying our time with the children and helping them grow.
Loraine and her daughter Sammy have been looking after my newborn baby girl for a few weeks now. They already feel like part of our family. Both are friendly, caring and very supportive. My wife, as a first time Mum, highly values all the advice, help and kind words Loraine always offers. Our baby girl loves all the cuddles and attention she receives from Loraine and Sammy and we feel happy and relaxed about leaving her in such capable hands.

She’s a joy to have.
Loraine has been helping me out regularly with my two babies for a few months and I now honestly don’t know what I would do without her! She is really warm and natural with the twins and I feel very comfortable leaving them with her while I get things done. She is brilliant!
