My Summary

My Experience

I started babysitting at aged 13, looking after infants as young as 3 weeks old. I consistently babysat on weekends while at school and continued this during my time at University. Through this website I found a family that I babysat for regularly, as well as a family that I did after-school nannying for.

In 2019 and 2024, I went on to work at a residential summer camp in the US. For 3 months I worked as a drama and arts instructor (1st camp) and behavioural specialist (2nd camp), planning and running engaging lessons for children aged 6-16. I helped campers through their daily routines, meal times, activities and bedtimes. With my prior experience and training I provided educational and behavioural support to campers. I worked closesly with one camper who struggled with extreme anxiety and panic attacks. In this role I worked with children from varying backgrounds, including children with a diverse range of educational, behavioural and emotional needs. I will be returning to camp this June in a leadership role, but will be available until June 10th and again in late August onwards.

From 2021-2023 I worked as an Education Worker for a charity organisation. Here I planned and ran workshops and after-school programmes for students aged 7-18. I was extensively trained in the Safeguarding of vulnernable young people, as well as receiving first aid training. In this role I provided long-term pastoral support for students on a daily basis, working with over 1,000 young people in each of my years with the organisation. In this role I trained and working closely with students with varying levels of additional support needs. While in this role, I also trained to teach English as a foreign language (TEFL). I have used this qualification both in-person and online as a teacher/tutor.

From 2024-2026, I worked as a Programme & Account Manager for a Social Mobility Chairty, here I oversaw the running of the organisations programme in Scotland, delivering to students and working with external stakeholders.

In 2025, through this website, I found a nannying/mothers help role with a wonderful family. I worked with them for 10 months, every evening helping with the after nursery/bedtime rountine and on some weekends.

My Qualifications

I have a MA(Hons) Philosophy and Theology degree from the University of Edinburgh, Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) qualification from the TEFL Org. First Aid training from the British Red Cross, REHIS Food Hygiene Certificate and extensive training in Educational Theory and Safeguarding.

I work full-time but remotely and with flexible hours so can work around your needs!

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

My fees increase for before school hours and after 10pm. I have a £4phr fee per additional child.
