About Me
Welcome to The Young Ones childcare , I am an Ofsted Outstanding registered childminder with many years of experience in childcare.
My name is Sue and I live with my husband and younger daughter, who are both in childcare and part of our family business. We have grown over the years and care for children from 6 - 9 children per day with assistants to support us. We have great fun and enjoy many different adventures.
The Young Ones is based in a log cabin situated in a large safe and secure garden based in the south green area, Billericay. I offer a home from home environment, with a wide range of resources that cater for children from the ages of birth to 5 years old.
The children have a fabulous time while here at our setting as we love to get messy, learn new things and explore many new places. The children learn through play and parents are updated on a regular basis.

My Experience
I have been in childcare for 35 years, a first aider, qualified nursery nurse, level 3 in Safeguarding, SENco and Behaviour trained , ICO registered and been a nursery manager for 7 years.
Over the 30 years of experience I have cared for twins, triplets, mothers help, special needs children, nanny and a nursery manager with an Outstanding inspection.
The child-minding setting has been running now for 6 years and we recently got graded as OUSTANDING
My Qualifications
NNEB( nursery nursing education board), English Speaking Board, Level 3 safeguarding officer, Behaviour and SENco trained, First Aider
My Availability
I do accept all the new funding
I am open for 47 weeks of the year, Monday to Thursday, 8am - 5.30pm..
I currently have a waiting list for September 2024
