About Me
My name Roseanne (Rose) Shaw I am a registered Childminder in the New England, Dogsthorpe areas of Peterborough.
The services that I provide are:
• School runs for children that need them
• I provide either a Healthy meal or snack depending on the child’s and parents needs
• I do arts and crafts with the children
• I support the children with any educational support they need or the parents would like me support them with for their child.
• I do many different outdoor and indoor activities with the children such as role play, ball games, sandpit play etc
• I use games and activities to help them learn in a fun way
• I also like the children to have free time where they can choose what they would like to do in the day
• I provide care in the school holidays for parents who need their children caring for in the holidays.
• My rates are negotiable and competitive
• I am ofsted registered
• I am also first aid trained
• I work my partner helps with the school runs, my partners name is Gary.
I also work with my daughter Sam who is a Child minder
• I like to give each child an equal chance in life and will support them with any specific needs they might have.
I work with children of different cultures and religions as well as helping children understand about different cultures around the world.
Both my daughter and myself have received a good in our Ofsted report.
I am able to take children who are eligible to claim the two year funding from the government.
In the summer we do lots of outdoor and indoor activities such as visits to the seaside, museum, parks,swimming etc.
My Experience
I am Ofsted registered childminder and I have work within the childcare industry for 15years. i have worked with children who have learning difficulties and behavioural problems. Before working in the child care industry I cared for my own children and my sisters children. I also look after my grandchildren on regular basis. i have had training in working with Children with Austism and ADHD. I have an NVQ level 3 Health and Safety working with Vulnerable Young People and an NVQ Level 2 in Child Care.

Rose, Gary and Sammy look after my 9 month old, Joe, and its been amazing for him so far. They are very caring people and there are lots of great activities for the children, and the curriculum progress is all logged online so you can follow it. They go the extra mile to look after Joe. I’ve noticed he’s developing a bit more socially and the other kids seem like they’ve been good for him too! I feel safe and comfortable with Joe in their care. Highly reccommend!

Rose, Sammy and Gary are great... Keira my daughter loves going and so does my son. My son presents some times with challenging behaviour which they completely understand and take on board and deal with him brilliantly. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds whilst attending here. They do a variety of activities with the children in and out of the house.
All in all I love these guys.

My son is being looked after by Rose for over an year and I don't think I could ever find someone better than her. My son has developed a lot of skills and he has learnt so much in this year I cannot believe sometimes what an important role she played in it! Would highly recommend to any parent who needs their kids looking after. She is great!

Highly recommend roseanne, my children thoroughly enjoy their time with Her! They enjoy a variety of activities and outings that they love to recall. Very child and family focused and caring for their needs.
