I am looking for a family needing help in the two weeks holiday in April (2020) I am currently on maternity leave however I am due back to work beginning of May 2020. I am currently registered with Ofsted as a nanny but before my maternity ends I will be registered as a childminder.
I have worked in 2 different nursery settings as well as being a nanny for a year and a half. I have been in this area of work for 6 years. Being a nanny was the perfect position for me as I love to get out and about. I believe children learn the best in new environments and places which they are able to explore. I was a Room Leader in my last nursery so this meant I was in charge of making sure the children's safety and learning targets were met. I understand that parents wishes are key and will always adhere to these. In previous nurseries I have had to carry out many daily duties such as the following:
- Setting up activities/toys which will enable learning through play both indoors and outdoors
- Complete learning journals referring to the Early Years Foundation Stage so that parents are able to see their child's progress
- Change nappies
- Serve meals
- Put the children to sleep
And plenty more.
I have a Level 3 qualification in childcare. I have up to date first aid training. I am a OFSTED registered nanny.
I'm available from April 2020
