About Me
Single mum to three grown up young men. Up until July 2018 i worked as a Specialist Science Teaching Assistant in a secondary school. I live in West Ealing and I am a loyal, caring, honest and a very hardworking person. I had a sister who at the age of 43 had a physical and mental age of an 18 month old. She was unable to communicate, was fed through a tube and the family relied on carers so I know how important it is to have people in your home that you can trust to look after loved ones.
My Experience
Experience with newborn to 18 year olds. I have worked with children with autism and challenging behaviour. I also have alot of experience working with children with moderate to severe learning disabilities. I am a fantastic cook and am very good with household chores. I tutor children from 3 to 18. I have done night nannying to emergency babysitting. I have potty trained children and dealt with babies suffering with colic and reflux.
I have lived in for a week to settle a newborn with colic and reflux and to help the baby sleep through most of the night. I have looked after many newborns.
I prepare and give feeds, daily baths playing with them and helping and giving advice to parents.
From the age of 8 I took on a motherly caring role cooking , cleaning, looking after my two sisters (both with severe learning disabilities) such as changing nappies, dressing and feeding.
I have a wealth of experience.
I offer phone advice and also do home visits for consultancy.
I sleep train formula and breastfed babies to sleep through the night from 12 weeks old.
I mainly work through word of mouth
My Qualifications
As well as bringing up my own children I also worked as a Specialist Sciene Teaching Assistant in a secondary school up until July 2018. I started working as a teaching assistant in St Saviours. I then went straight to Christ Church now known as Christ the Saviour and was at Twyford High School for nearly 12 years. In total worrking in the education sector for nearly 18 years.

Violet was so much more than I could ever have hoped for. She treated my boys as her own and showed care and kindness to them at all times. She helped them to become more independent and guided their behaviour with positivity and fun. Violet also took them on wonderful adventures and cooked them nutrious and delicious meals. She is also incredibly dependable and communicated all information ensuring transitions were smooth. I could not recommend her more highly and I wish we were able to have had her for longer.
Overall
I just thought I would update my earlier review. Thanks to violets help, my 5 month old is now sleeping 7-7 and having regular naps including a 2 hour lunch time nap. She also self settles. Thanks so much violet. Couldn't have done it without you xxx

We had violet from when our son was only a few weeks old, I was really nervous about having a night nanny but as soon as I met her she put my mind at ease she helped me with anything I was not sure about as I was a first time mum , she helped me and Domenic hit his milestones and 10 months on we still have her she’s part of the family now and my son adores her he never gets left with a lot of people but violet is amazing in every part of his care and he even goes for sleep overs at her house now if me or his dad have something on her and her family shower him with lots of love would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a second mum to both you and your baby!

Violet ("Cocolola") has been part of our childcare arrangements now for over 2yrs now for my son who is now 2.5yrs old. She is unbelievably experienced in all elements of childcare starting from newborns through to older children and can deal with everything from routine, sleep, behaviour, feeding, diet etc. She's very hard working, reliable, and will become part of your family. I would not hesitate to recommend Violet to anyone.

I was hoping to find someone to help me with establishing good sleep habits when my baby was 6 weeks old. I'm a first time mum so didn't really know what to expect. Violet called me and helped me over the phone for an hour. I felt so much better with this alone. I found Violet kind and non judgemental. She then came and spent a couple of days with us to teach me what I didn't know and answer all of my questions. Violet's help was invaluable. I learned so much from her and felt so much more confident having had her support. Since then, I've turned to her for verbal advice and she has always been there for me. I honestly don't think I could have managed without her! She was fantastic with my baby and was so kind and reassuring to myself. I wouldn't hesitate to recommended her to anyone at all!
