About Me

Are you worried about your child's progress, struggling to know how to help them best?

My primary goal is to help each child holistically. This means before working on their academic performance, I work on the barriers they have to succeeding, whether this is gaps in their learning, fear of making mistakes or a lack of confidence and motivation.

Your child will learn in a hands on way to help consolidate learning. With modelling, your child will then apply what they have learnt. Your child will understand the why. Why a method works, or why they are writing a sentence using a verb. This will really impact the quality of progress they make not just in tutoring sessions, but school as well.

I am child-centred and believe in tutoring in a fun and engaging way! After all, aren't we all life long learners? I didn't always find academic work easy and have had to battle through my own struggles of a poor self-belief. I want to empower and build a can do attitude in those I teach! With an empathetic understanding of finding things difficult, I am able to teach in ways that suits your child and can explain things in different ways. I use resources to help make things visual and use games to help engage your child!

I thrive on teaching those who are struggling and are deemed to be falling behind. I am extremely patient and this helps build a positive working relationship so that your child can achieve their best.
