Hello, my name is Demi. I am a very energetic person who is very outgoing and enjoys doing everything I do to the best of my ability. I am a caring and loving person. I’m extremely passionate about working with children and ensure that they receive the love and nurture they need to grow into lovely little people. I enjoy setting up inviting and exciting activities that encourage the children’s development whilst they have fun!
Whilst it’s great to stay indoors and play, I believe in having equal time supporting outdoor play is just as important. Exercise even for younger ones is extremely important so there will be many outdoor trips to the park etc.
I have my own daughter so I know the trust you have to put into people to look after your child which is why I take such pride and passion in being a nanny.
My Experience
With a total of 7 years experience working with children, I have 2 years experience working in a private nursery. I have worked with all ages of children ranging from 3months to 5years.
I was also a nanny for a lovely 1 year old little girl who I had since March 2018. We go to lots of play groups and love days out! We also done a nanny share so on a Thursday / Friday we both went to another family and care for their three lovely children (ages 3,5,8). We loved all playing together and doing trips to the park. This sadly came to an end when the youngest went to school in July 2021.
I have also looked after a 2 year old boy (occasionally his older siblings ages 6 and 7) from March 2018 until August 2018 (they sadly moved to the United States for the fathers work commitments).
I have also worked for a family of 3 children again (2,4 and 7).
My Qualifications
I have my level 2 and 3 in childcare. I am now at university to get my degree in early years education.
I have 13 GCSEs and I have also completed a course on Phonix and Speech and Lanuage.
I’m also trained in safeguarding and I have a first aid qualification. I also have a clean driving license with my own car.
I am more than happy to become ofsted registered if the family require.
My Availability
I would like a part time position. If full time is required, I would need to bring my daughter along as I would have no full childcare for her.

When Demi was working at the private nursery she was my almost 2yo’s keyworker so I was chuffed when I spotted her on childcare.co.uk as she and my son had formed a lovely rapport.
Demi looks after my toddler every week and he is always pleased to see her, she has lots of energy and is always up for either going out and about with him or pottering at home, kicking a ball or other activities.
On occasion she also takes care of my older children (6 & 7) and is our regular sitter. Demi is polite, friendly, punctual and reliable...she is also flexible which is great for us as I often call on her last minute and she’s been able to help me out. More than happy to provide further reference over the phone if required.

Demi has been babysitting for us for a few months now and is very flexible. She’s absolutely amazing with our children (aged 2 and 7 months). They have absolutely fallen in love with her and really look forward to seeing her again.
Despite it being only occasional babysitting, she still ensures that her care his devoted to the children’s welfare and development. She makes every little task fun and my 2 year old really enjoys getting ready for bed now (which she hates when myself and dad are home) as Demi has made it fun and exciting for her.
She’s completely understanding when it comes to last minute change and has shown great reliability.
We will continue to use Demi alongside our new nanny (we didn’t use Demi as a nanny as we needed someone that could start ASAP but Demi unfortunately had a job at the time and wanted to give her current job enough notice).
