About Me
I am a registered childminder, that aims to support children's personal development and prepare him or her for the future. I follow the Foundation Stage Framework in my setting, offering the children structured and independent play. I belong to the local Library where they have story/singing time and so that children can pick and choose their own books to bring home. We visit local parks and nature areas regularly. Also outings during school holidays to Zoo or farms etc - which are arranged with parents in advance. I offer a wide range of stimulating and educational toys including toys which promote children’s imagination, dressing up and role play, etc. I also promote a healthy approach to eating and offer cold and hot meals along with a sleeping area for naps. I am an outgoing person, that loves cooking and doing arts and crafts. I feel that looking after children in a home base settings is more beneficial to child's individual care and development and also means that I am working closely with parents.
I have 2 older children, who live at home with me. We also have 2 sweet dogs, Pug/Shih-tzu cross and Cocker Spaniel and a cat, which offer a warm and friendly home life. Our home is a Victorian house, where I have a separate playroom, providing a safe, fun environment with loving care and moral guidance. I can care for children from 0-12 years and up to maximum of 6 children, which is a small number to keep safe, but also enable them to build on their social skills.
I am registered for the Childcare for Wales Offer and Hmrc taxfree childcare.

My Availability
Opening hours are 7.30-5pm. I am quite flexible and understand how hard it is to be a working parent and work shifts. I provide drop off and collection from Ysgol Saint Baruc.

Deborah is an outstanding childminder. I have been using her services for my child for almost 2 years and her continuous dedication and support regarding my child’s care is exceptional.
Deborah is extremely accommodating and her professional and attentive attitude towards the children in her care is completely reassuring. Deborah is nurturing and kind and has built an incredible relationship with my child through complete trust, creating a bond that allows both parent and child to feel comfortable and confident that they are safe and well looked after.
In addition to a safe, warm and supportive environment, Deborah continuously provides varied, stimulating learning opportunities to encourage many skills and abilities. Deborah provides healthy balanced meals, promoting a healthy lifestyle and incorporating that into her childminding services, setting great examples for the children in her care.
Deborah really is exceptional, I am forever grateful that I can confidently say that I know she loves my child just as much as my child loves her. My child thinks the world of Deborah and I am forever grateful of the wonderful relationship that my child and Deborah have developed and will continue to do so. Total admiration for such a lovely, kind and caring lady. Highly recommend.
